FRASCAL 1st Retreat & 4th RTG Seminar
On September 14th and 15th, the combined 1st RTG Retreat & 4th RTG Seminar was held by the Research Training Group (RTG) GRK 2423 FRASCAL at the Fraunhofer Research Campus in Waischenfeld. The Capriccio group participated as part of FRASCAL.
On the first day, Christof Bauer, FRASCAL doctoral researcher in project P6, gave a presentation entitled “Multiple Particle-Based Regions within a Continuum: Substituting FE with MD”. On the second day, Sebastian Pfaller presented the data management of the Capriccio group with focussing on its relation to FRASCAL followed by a poster presentation from the Capriccio group. The exchange with experts and students in various fields stimulated extensive discussions.
