Congratulations to Vincent Dötschel for the successful completion of his bachelor thesis on the investigation of the material behavior of poly(2-vinylpyridine) using molecular dynamics simulations.
Vincent implemented a self-avoiding random walk algorithm for the initialization of polymer chain systems. He worked extensively on the molecular dynamic equilibration of these systems and was also able to perform preliminary tensile tests.
His work forms the basis for future studies with poly(2-vinylpyridine) based nanocomposites.

We thank Vincent for this important contribution and wish him all the best on his future path!
