18th European Mechanics of Materials Conference (EMMC18)
The 18th European Mechanics of Materials Conference (EMMC18) took place from April 4th to 6th, 2022. The event was held in a hybrid format with participation possible on-site as well as digitally. Due to the high demand, the number of on-site participants was limited, which meant that the Capriccio group, represented by Christof Bauer, attended the conference in digital format. Christof’s talk on “An adaptive discrete-to-continuum coupling scheme for scale bridging simulations of amorphous polymers” was therefore streamed live in the corresponding session. The conference offered many interesting talks from a wide range of disciplines. The Capriccio group would like to thank the organisers for a successful conference and we are looking forward to attending in person next time.
