On June 23, we held our Capriccio Junior Party, to which all students who have been involved in the Capriccio group for the past two years were invited. This way we could all get to know each other better, which was partly impeded by the Corona pandemic. Our principal investigator Sebastian Pfaller opened the celebration with a warm greeting, accompanied by remarks on the seminar about leadership styles in science he had attended earlier this day.

Over bratwurst, steak, a large variety of salads as well as tasty desserts, we had lively conversations, which covered the broad range from bicycle tours through Franconia to a Chinese language lesson. Nevertheless, there also arose some scientific discussions among the students, which will certainly be continued in the future. Particularly pleasing was a spontaneous visit by members of the BRAINIACS group, who in this informal setting gave us exciting insights into their work.

Concludingly, we are very delighted about the great students we have within the group, and we will definitely repeat an event of this format again soon.
