Welcome to Felix Weber as doctoral researcher of the Capriccio group!
We are very pleased to announce the successful completion of Felix Weber’s master thesis on “Systematic analysis and parameter optimization of the multiscale Capriccio method”. In his thesis, he thouroughly investigated the sensitivity of the equilibration procedure with respect to the parameters of the Capriccio method. Eventually, it turned out that only some parameters have a significant effect on the equilibration procedure, whereas the majority of parameters do not change the results very much. In a subsequent step, Felix will extend his study to systems under deformation.
In this regard, we are very delighted to welcome Felix as a new doctoral researcher of the Capriccio group and of the research training group “FRASCAL”!
